![]() ![]() The models shown in the photos were all printed using either a Creality Ender 3 V2 or Ender 2 pro 3D printer and sliced using Cura. No supports or infill are required for any parts. The optional horizontal joiner clips should be printed in non-vase mode. It is also possible to print the models quickly in non-vase mode by using zero infill and zero top layers (which could be useful for printing multiple models at a time on the same build plate). I use a 0.32mm layer height and 30mm wall speed for these models, as I find this gives a good balance between print quality and speed. The shelves have been designed to print best using a 0.8mm line width. (They obviously should not be used above the standard depth versions as this would be unstable).Īll shelf models have been designed to print using ‘vase mode’ ('spiralize outer contour’ in Cura), so using default slicer settings will result in the models printing solid and taking longer to print. These are 50% deeper than the standard versions and have the same locator tab configuration, so they can be used underneath the standard-depth versions. ![]() Update: 26th March 2023: I have uploaded an extra-deep version of each shelf unit. This allows for 2 x single-width shelves to sit underneath a double-width shelf without leaving unused tabs in the centre. ![]() Update 23rd February 2023: I have just uploaded versions of the single shelf with locator tabs on the left or right side only. :-)Īlso, please check out my other fast printing designs, and keep checking back or follow me, as I have more on the way soon. If anyone would like to post a photo of their prints, I would love to see them. Other items displayed include: 3DBenchy by Creative Tools and Solid Dragon Egg by Tony Youngblood. Some of these can be found under my Cults3d profile. The contents displayed on the shelves are not included. It is prohibited to share or redistribute these files or any derivatives, or to use them for commercial purposes, including selling the printed models. These files are provided for PERSONAL USE ONLY. NEW: Extra-deep versions of all shelf units now available (50% deeper) Additional options may be added later if there is a demand for this. Optional joiner clips are also included to connect the legs horizontally.Īt launch, shelves are available in 100mm and 200mm widths. The shelves simply stack on top of each other using an integrated locator tab and there are also versions included without tabs to give a clean/flat top row. A single shelf unit can easily be printed in around only 2 hours on an entry level 3D printer and significantly faster using a high-end machine. They are ideal for displaying 3d prints or for neatly storing lightweight parts and supplies to keep your workspace tidy.ĭue to the speed at which each shelf unit can be printed, a large set can be produced in very little time and using only a small amount of filament. These stackable desktop shelves have been specifically designed to print in ‘vase mode’ to allow for very fast printing and low filament usage, whilst maximising strength. ![]()
